The Band was founded in 1951 in the Dun Laoghaire area, mainly through the efforts of brothers, Stanley and George Dyke, from Past Members of The Boys’ Brigade. The band rehearses in the old Blackrock Methodist Church where it has remained for over thirty five years. The band welcomes all brass and percussion players.
